Hermès Vintage Black Ardennes Birkin 40

Hermès’ Vintage Black Ardennes Birkin 40 is a large, slouchy top handle in a thick, sturdy leather suitable for traveling! It’s paired with gold-tone feet and hardware and comes with a padlock and leather clochette with keys. The flap opens with a turnlock to reveal black-leather lining with one zipped and one slide pocket inside and the dual rolled handles have a 4-inch drop. It’s previously loved, stamped with an X in a circle, comes with a dustbag, and has scratches on the metal, wear on the corners, edges, handle glazing, inside, outside, and bottom of the bag, marks on the leather, and needs a bit of an airing out. Hermès discontinued Ardennes leather in 2003 so this vintage Hermès bag is a real collectible!
