The Story

Hermès’ Black Chèvre de Coromandel Kelly 35 is gorgeous in mountain-goat skin that is glossy, textured, and almost completely scratch-resistant—almost! Paired with palladium feet and hardware, the flap’s turnlock opens to black-leather lining with one zipped and two slide pockets inside. This large-ish Kelly has a single handle drop of 3.75 inches and a detachable leather strap for the shoulder to give almost hands-free convenience. In very good condition and stamped with an F in a square, it has scratches on the metal, wear inside, and a few marks on the leather. The natural structure of the Chèvre de Coromandel leather is on full display, with its distinctive spine detail and a subtle mark down the front that becomes visible under certain lighting. This spine speaks to the exclusivity of this Kelly, making it a true collector’s piece!
